Cross
These crosses hold two very special meanings for me.
The first is to signify the unending love Jesus displayed by dying for my sins on the cross.
The other is my Dad, a combat-wounded WWII vet (Battle of the Bulge), my older son, and I hand-crafted them.
The lumber for these crosses was locally sourced from trees destined for the dump after they were bulldozed to make way for a parking lot. We took the trees to a local lumber mill and had them cut into lumber. We then air dried them before working the lumber up to craft these crosses.
Rest assured I will keep one of these crosses as a reminder of Jesus’ sacrifice for me. It will also provide fond memories of my Dad, son, and I making them. We offer the rest for you to make your own family memories. They are ready for your paint or finish or you can display them as they were crafted.
The crosses measure four inches by two inches.
The work on these crosses – from start to finish – was completed in a local maker’s space before we built our US veteran-owned and operated workshop in Sugarcreek Township, Ohio.
